The FDNY took on a fire that ripped through a Brooklyn home on Wednesday afternoon.
At 3:33 p.m. on March 30, Fire Department personnel responded to a fire at 1610 East 56th Street in Mill Basin. The fire turned into an all-hands situation with the FDNY deploying 12 units with 60 firefighters to the scene.
The fire was brought under control at 4:34 p.m. There were no reported injuries as a result.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
