Gun recovered on street after shooting leaves man injured in Brooklyn

Detectives are investigating a shooting that left a man injured in Brooklyn on Wednesday.

According to police, at 2:15 p.m. on Nov. 13, officers responded to a call regarding a shooting at 127 Pennsylvania Ave. Upon their arrival, police found a 26-year-old man at Liberty Avenue and Jersey Street with multiple gunshot wounds to the lower back.

Paramedics rushed the victim to Brookdale Hospital with a police escort in stable condition.

Members of Emergency Unit Truck 7 recovered a handgun and multiple shell casings at the scene. A detective close to the investigation said the incident remains under investigation and members of the department aren’t sure what led up to the incident.
