A man is in critical condition after being shot in Brooklyn early on Thursday morning, police reported.
Law enforcement sources said the shooting happened just after 3:15 a.m. on April 24 at a home on Duryea Place between Flatbush Avenue and East 22nd Street in Flatbush.
Officers from the 70th Precinct, in responding to a 911 call, found the victim, a 20-year-old man, inside the location with a gunshot wound to his chest.
EMS rushed the wounded man to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are not yet known, police reported. An NYPD spokesperson said detectives are looking for a suspect who fled on an e-bike after the shooting.
Detectives are still canvassing the area for leads as part of the ongoing investigation. So far, no arrests have been made.
