Iconic NYC characters who deserve statues in the city: From Carrie Bradshaw to King Kong

Some iconic characters deserve a permanent spot in New York City.

Marvel on Tuesday announced that a 13-foot tall statue of Captain America is coming to Prospect Park in August.

But Captain America isn’t the only fictional NYC native who should have a statue in one of the five boroughs. Here are some movie and TV show characters we’d like to see made into statues.
