Looks like Kanye West finally ticked off the wrong fan base.
#KanyeIsOverParty was a top trend on Twitter Sunday, which saw Beyoncé fans, aka the BeyHive, blast the rapper.
In a week that saw the rapper voice support for president-elect Donald Trump, video emerged from West’s Saturday show in Sacramento of Yeezy continuing to lambaste Taylor Swift, as well as rant about Hillary Clinton and Mark Zuckerberg. But it wasn’t until he dissed Beyoncé and Jay Z that fans turned on him.
What happened, exactly? Following a musical performance that reportedly lasted 15 minutes and consisted of three songs, West unleashed on various public figures, before his swipe at the “Formation” star — seemingly accusing the singer of rigging the MTV Video Music Awards.
“Beyoncé, I was hurt,” the rapper said, “because I heard that you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over ‘Hotline Bling.’ ” The rant then turned to Beyonce’s husband Jay Z.
“I know you got killers,” West said in the increasingly bizarre rant. “Please don’t send them at my head.” The strange tirade prompted boos from the crowd and audience members to leave, according to local reporter Frances Wang, who tweeted from the concert.
