New Yorkers can learn more about Seth Rogan’s latest project, “The Studio,” at The Paley Museum next month.
On March 27, The Paley Museum will host An Evening with Seth Rogen and the Star-Studded Ensemble Cast of Apple TV+’s “The Studio.” The evening is a part of the museum’s ongoing PaleyLive programming.
“The Studio is a smart and hilarious look at the movie business featuring some of today’s most comedically gifted and beloved actors,” said Maureen J. Reidy, President & CEO, The Paley Center for Media. “We are thrilled to offer visitors to The Paley Museum a behind-the-scenes look at this highly anticipated new series and what promises to be an entertaining and hilarious conversation.”
“The Studio” follows Matt Remick (played by Rogen), the newly appointed head of embattled Continental Studios, who finds himself and his core team of infighting executives at odds with narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords as they try to create great films. When presented with an opportunity that could lead to either a massive success or a major catastrophe, Remick goes for it, but will it destroy him in the end?

The event, which kicks off at 7 p.m., will feature a screening of an upcoming episode of “The Studio” before it premieres on Apple TV+, followed by a discussion with Rogan, who is the show’s cocreator, executive producer, star, writer, and director, as well as cast members Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz and Chase Sui Wonders.
Tickets are now on sale for Paley President’s Circle, Patron Circle, and Partner Members, and will go on sale to Paley Individual, Family, and Supporting Members on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 12 p.m. Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Feb. 21 at 12 p.m.
In anticipation for the event, The Paley Museum will host a screening of the first two episodes of the series (slated to premiere on March 26) on the big screen in the Bennack Theater on March 22-23, with encore screenings on March 26-27. These screenings are free for Paley members and included in general admission for the public.
The Paley Museum is located at 25 West 52nd St. For more information, visit paleycenter.org.
