Oreo Slide in Herald Square

Slide down milk’s favorite slide all day Friday and pick your favorite variety of the creamy cookie by choosing a corresponding lane on the slide. Open all day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Marilyn Monroe Gallery

Head to HGU Hotel at 34 E. 32nd Street for Bert Stern’s The Red Party exhibit which will donate proceeds to Australian Wildfire relief. Open all day.

American Cuisine Talk

Archestratus Books + Foods at 160 Huron Street in Brooklyn will be hosting a discussion on how U.S. cuisine became the way it is today with Q & A opportunities. 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

MK kicks off his “Desire” tour at Schimanski

NYC Beer Week Opening Bash

Head to the Brooklyn Expo Center at 72 Noble Street in Greenpoint as NYC beer week starts brewing up. Times and prices vary.

African Pop Up Festival

MIST Harlem at 46 West 116th Street is hosting this nod to the “sounds, style, and taste of Africa” in celebration of Black History Month. 12-7:00 p.m.

Spiritual Art Market

Catland at 987 Flushing Avenue will be holding vendors that “provide creative energy to inspire, heal, and connect” from 12-6:00 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 23

West African Dance Class

This introductory class at Cumbe: Center for African and Diaspora Dance at 1368 Fulton Street will both teach you and make you more confident on the dance floor. 12:30to 2 p.m.

Weirdo Painting Class

This BYOB friendly event at Cult Party’s 53 Waterbury Street location in Brooklyn is where you’ll get to paint “weird and whimsical creatures in a fun, friendly and colorful boutique setting.” 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Grand Bazaar Vintage Pop Up

Head on over to 100 W. 77th Street to browse through  vintage-style lamps, mid-century furniture, rugs, antiques, vinyl, collectible cameras, and more are ready and wanting to go home with you. Jewelry, handbags, denim, accessories, posters, tees and vintage oddities will also be there from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
