East River Esplanade is a two-mile span of green space between the Battery Maritime Building and Montgomery Street. Pier 15 is located within that space and offers stunning views of the East River, the Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn beyond. In general, FDR Drive’s curve along the east side of Manhattan will give New Yorkers an ideal view on the elevated portion from 34th Street or between 16th Street and Avenue C. ” data-id=”118988834″ data-link=”https://amnewyork.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/6171_image.jpg” class=”wp-image-1.18988834″/>

The Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks show will draw New Yorkers’ eyes to the Brooklyn Bridge on Thursday, featuring 70,000 shells timed to a musical score.
The 25-minute fireworks event is set to launch off of the bridge starting at 9:20 p.m., but you’ll want to be in position well before.
And if you can’t catch them at the East River, there will be other fireworks celebrations across the city to catch as well, including at Coney Island and at Astoria Park.

Here’s where to park yourself to catch a view of this year’s fireworks.
