Harlem Dance Club’s annual festival MOTHERSHIP is returning this fall with a lineup of acts that embrace the healing power of music and dance.
Dubbed MOTHERSHIP FOUR, the festival will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 17 and the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater in Marcus Garvey Park, located at 18 Mt. Morris Park W.
MOTHERSHIP FOUR will take guests on an interactive voyage of dance and music. Headlined by performer Vanity Zo, MOTHERSHIP FOUR will feature a variety of performances throughout the evening covering styles such as afro-dance, hip-hop, vogue, house, praise, and more. Resident DJ Johnny D and DJ Steph Stylez will each perform a set, as well as a number of live musicians and DJs that will be announced at a later date.
A highlight of this year’s lineup is the Vogue Ball, with celebrates the LGBTQ+ community while promoting the ethos of the festival performers on the festival stage, which highlights authenticity, healing, inclusivity and heart.
