A New York ice cream brand is joining forces with a cannabis delivery service to help deliver the munchies for 4/20.
From April 19-21, Doobie, the premier same-day cannabis delivery service, is teaming up with New York’s Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream to give away “Doobie Scoobie Snacks,” a limited-edition ice cream flavor to celebrate 4/20.
Customers who buy a pint of Morgenstern’s ice cream during this time will receive a complimentary pint of Doobie Scoobie Snacks as well as a coupon for free delivery from Doobie within its NYC service area.
“This collaboration with Morgenstern’s is a celebration of how far the cannabis industry has come and where it’s headed,” said Jessica Powell, Doobie’s co-founder. “Bringing cannabis together with New York’s famous food scene on such a notable scale for 420 shows societal norms are evolving. We wanted to pay homage to classic munchies while crafting a flavor that combines great taste with a touch of playfulness, perfect for cannabis enthusiasts and ice cream lovers alike.”
Despite what the name suggests, Doobie Scoobie Snacks is not infused with cannabis. The new flavor is a cornflake ice cream with peanut butter, graham crackers and caramel crunch.
