Here are a few places in NYC where you can enjoy a nice Valentine’s Day meal

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Unless you plan on cooking at home, you’re going to be in need of some dinner plans to celebrate.

Whether you’re going out with your significant other, your best pals or flying solo, there are plenty of places in New York City that are offering special Valentine’s Day deals and menus. Be sure to make a reservation, as space can fill up quickly!

 

Patsy’s Italian Restaurant

Swoon over a delicious meal this Valentine’s Day at Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. For $85 a head, Patsy’s is serving up a special Valentine’s Day four-course pre-fixe menu. Start off with Heart shaped Ravioli or Rigatoni fra Diavolo followed by the salad course of Tre Colore Salad. For mains, diners will have the choice of the delectable Shrimp fra Diavolo, Chicken Rollatini, Cacciatore Sausage Pizzaola or Veal Francese. To sweeten the evening, dessert includes Chocolate Mousse Cake, Napoleon or Cannolis.

 

Fornino

On Valentine’s Day weekend, Fornino is offering a special deal — dinner for two for $55. The meal includes a platter of Italian cheese and fruit, your choice of any salad off the menu and, two choices of any pizza off the menu, which will be served to you in the shape of a heart. End your meal with Fornino’s classic TiraMisu with strawberries.Dining at home? To-go meals will be available to pick up after 3 p.m. and delivery will be available from 3pm-6pm. Your heart-shaped pizzas will come in a 15in square box with a big red bow.

 

Bell Book & Candle

Book & Candle is offering a pre-fixe menu for Valentine’s Day that you won’t want to miss. For $75 a head or $200 per couple (which offers a bottle of champagne), you can choose from a number of options, including Red Napa Cabbage Salad, Roasted Tomato and Garlic Bread Soup,  entrees like Butter Poached Lobster with black truffle, celery root and hervil, a Grilled Grassfed Beef Filet, or Organic Pork Tenderloin with chorizo cornbread stuffing and sauteed spinach. A vegetarian menu is also available, offering Caramelized Tofu, Roasted Cauliflower Soup, grilled and roasted vegetables enveloped in rainbow chard with romesco sauce and a Stuffed Baby Pumpkin with coconut curry, mixed roots, squash and crispy chickpeas. End the meal with a delicious dessert.

 

O Pedro

O Pedro, located within INTERSECT by LEXUS, is serving up a five-course menu this Valentine’s Day for $150 a person. Start off the meal with Sourdough Poee with ‘Balchow’ Butter, followed by Charred Pumpkin Pâté, Alaskan King Crab ‘Kismur’ and a choice of Goan Striped Bass Curry ‘Sheet Kodi’ or Grilled Rib Eye ‘Jeere-Meere’, and finish off with a Crêpe Cake. Wine pairings are available for an additional $50, plus alternative menus are available to accommodate dietary needs.

 

DiWine Restaurant & Wine Bar

This seductive little restaurant in Astoria is offering a three-course prix fixe menu for $65/person, $125/couple plus tax and gratuity. The menu includes a choice of Baked Clams, Strawberry-Beet Salad or Lobster Bisque for an appetizer; Branzino with grilled rainbow vegetables, Rib Eye Steak with truffle mashed potatoes, and Mushroom Risotto with seared scallops as entrée choices; and Chocolate Mousse or Strawberry Cheesecake in a jar for dessert. DiWine’s Valentine’s Day menu will be offered at four two-hour seatings, 5 to 7 p.m., 7 to 9 p.m., 9 to 11 p.m. and 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.  Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the restaurant.

 

Brooklyn Cider House

Looking for another option that doesn’t involve popping open a bottle of wine? Brooklyn Cider House is offering a great pre-fixe menu this Valentine’s Day for just $69 per person. Each three-course meal will come with two cider catches to enjoy between courses. Seatings will take place between 5 and 11:30 p.m., and you can reserve your spot on their website.

 

HandCraft Kitchen & Cocktails

From Feb. 14-16, guests at HandCraft Kitchen & Cocktails can enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu ($50/person plus tax and gratuity) that includes a complimentary glass of bubbly with choices of an appetizer, entrée and dessert options, which is a choice between a Red Velvet Cake or an assortment of Mini Cheesecakes. Entrees also come with a complimentary choice of cocktail: Harvest Moon, The Lovers, The Ultimate Refreshment or Berry Lemonade. 

 

Bistrot Leo

If French cuisine is pleasing to your palette, Bistrot Leo is the place to be this Valentine’s Day. They’re offering an a la carte menu on Feb. 14 with carefully chosen dinners and desserts (plus a list of wine and beer options to choose from) that will help create an intimate atmosphere for you and your date. From start to finish, you’ll feel the love during this meal.

 

Lot 15

Lot 15 is offering special Valentine’s Day treats for couples and singles alike. For couples, Lot 15 has a ‘Love Seat Package For Two’ for $120 that offers food, booze and a personal photographer for the evening on a reserved loveseat couch. For singles or those celebrating with friends, Lot 15 is having an extended happy hour from 4 to 8 p.m. with drinks starting at $5 and food for $1, $3 or $5.

 

 

Bodega Negra

Bodega Negra will give you a one-of-a-kind dining experience this Valentine’s Day. They’re offering Guacamole with white chocolate and pomegranate seeds, grilled wagyu beef Tacos de Alambre, lobster Enchiladas, and the Set My Heart on Fire, a flambé candy filled with chocolate heart, with chocolate crémeux and raspberry sauce. Their dishes are meant for sharing, so order up!

 

Medieval Times
149 Polito Ave, Lyndhurst, NJ

If you’re looking to venture outside of NYC for your Valentine’s Day celebration, Medieval Times is offering a great deal. For their shows from now through Feb. 17, if you use the code VDAY20 when you book your tickets, you get an exclusive couples package that includes, two tickets, two branded flutes of champagne (if you’re under 21 you’ll get a non-alcoholic beverage), a framed photo and a light up rose. The packages are available for $110, or as an add-on to individual tickets for $30.
