NYC holiday tree lightings

  • The most iconic of them all. The 85-foot tree will be lit with 45,000 energy-efficient LED lights. The ceremony will be hosted by Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Natalie Morales and Al Roker and will feature performances by Cyndi Lauper, LeAnn Rimes, the Rockettes, Lady Gaga, Seth MacFarlane and Idina Menzel. December 3; 7 p.m.; Rockefeller Center.

‘Tis the season. Holiday trees are sprouting up throughout the city. There are big, famous events (Rockefeller Center, anyone?), but don’t forget about your own neighborhood tree.
