Urban Outfitters’ concept store, opened at Space Ninety 8 in April, is nothing like any of the store’s locations you’ve seen before. The five-story hipster mecca is an all-inclusive thrift shop, art space, bar and restaurant in addition to selling its usual casual-cool apparel. Shoppers will find everything from overalls and fanny packs (they’re baaack) to Jeffrey Campbell platforms and home decor created by Brooklyn-based artisans. Throw in the healing crystals, incense, bicycles and a cocktail, and you’ve got yourself a truly immersive shopping experience.

Fresh fashion is always in season, but there’s something about shedding our dowdy winter duds that gives us serious style fever this time of year. And re-awakening our wardrobes has never been easier, thanks to the brand new stores that are sprouting up alongside the tulips and daffodils in NYC. As we eye their goods– from bold flip-flops and breezy dresses to customized sunnies– we’re making a mental note to clear out some extra closet space when we finally get around to finishing that spring cleaning.
