Police were called to an apartment building in Washington Heights Tuesday afternoon where they discovered a 55-year-old man dead with slash wounds to his neck, according to the NYPD.
Cops received a call that a dispute had broken out at 1 Arden St. at around 4:15 p.m. and that a knife was involved. Upon arrival they discovered the victim, identified as Maximito Polanco, with slash wounds to his neck.
EMS responded and pronounced Polanco dead at the scene.
Police took two men in for questioning who were allegedly involved in a dispute with the victim. No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
