A 74-year-old woman was found dead with her hands and feet tied inside her Upper West Side apartment Wednesday night, police said.
Maria Hernandez, of 126 West 83rd St., was found in her third-floor apartment unconscious and unresponsive at around 9:55 p.m. bound by rope — although there were no obvious signs of trauma, police said.
EMS responded to the location and Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident was ruled a homicide Friday and the police have made no arrests. The investigation remains ongoing.
