A 21-year-old man was fatally shot while in the Claremont section of the Bronx Wednesday night, according to police.
Antione Strong, a Bronx resident, was shot in the stomach at around 10 p.m. in front of 1382 College Ave. When officers from the 44th Precinct arrived on the scene, they found him on the ground with a bullet wound to the torso.
Strong was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
According to police sources, three men were seen on bicycles approaching the victim at the time of the shooting, with one of them believed to have fired the shots.
There have been no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
