A Brooklyn man who was knifed in front of his home on Saturday night has died of his injuries, police announced Monday.
William Fletcher, 45, was stabbed in the abdomen in front of 195 New Jersey Ave. in Cypress Hills at about 10:41 p.m. on Oct. 2.
Officers from the 75th Precinct found Fletcher after responding to a 911 call about the incident. EMS rushed him to Brookdale Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.
At this point, police offered few details regarding the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No information was available about a possible motive, or a description of a suspect.
No arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, police said.
