Brooklyn detectives are looking for the suspect who shot a 22-year-old man to death in the lobby of an apartment building early Sunday morning.
Officers from the 77th Precinct and NYPD PSA 2 responded to the shooting, which occurred at about 1:02 a.m. on Oct. 3 within the Albany Houses at 180 Troy Ave. in Crown Heights.
Upon arriving at the scene, authorities said, officers found the unconscious and unresponsive victim in the lobby, with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest.
At this point, detectives have not yet ascertained a possible motive for the shooting. Detectives are currently examining security camera footage taken inside the lobby, hoping to piece together the events that led to the homicide.
EMS rushed the victim to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police have withheld his identity, pending family notification.
So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation. Cops are looking for a suspect who was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a red hat.
