Brooklyn man shot dead outside apartment building: cops

Brooklyn detectives are looking for the killer who shot and killed a 38-year-old man outside an apartment building on Friday night.

Police said Winston Chee, 38, of Alice Court in Bedford-Stuyvesant was gunned down in front of 2020 Albemarle Road in Flatbush at about 8:20 p.m. on April 14. 

Officers from the 70th Precinct, in responding to a 911 call about shots fired, found Chee with a gunshot wound to his torso.

EMS rushed him to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, police said.
