Police need the public’s help in finding the perverted creep who tried to sexually assault a young woman on a public bench in Brooklyn on Easter Sunday.
The NYPD released on Monday night an image of the deviant responsible for the attack that occurred in broad daylight, at about 12:15 p.m. on April 17, in the area of Grand Army Plaza.
According to law enforcement sources, the creep was masturbating outside the Grand Army Plaza station on the 2/3 line when he noticed the 29-year-old woman exiting from the subway stop, and began following her.
Authorities said he continued pleasuring himself as he confronted the victim, then pulled her down onto a nearby bench. Sources said he pulled his genitalia toward her while holding her head.
Seconds later, cops said, he abandoned the attack and ran into nearby Prospect Park through the Grand Army Plaza entrance.
The incident was reported to the 78th Precinct. The woman, who did not know her attacker, did not suffer any physical injuries, police sources said.
As shown in the security camera image, the suspect was shown wearing a black-and-white hat, sunglasses, a gray mask, a gray sweater and light-colored pants.
