UPDATED: City’s first babies of 2020 arrive at Brooklyn and Staten Island

They were right on time!

The city’s first new arrivals of 2020 came into the world at about the exact same time Wednesday morning at hospitals in Brooklyn and Staten Island.

Little Aidan Zobnin was the first baby born in NYC Health System this year, coming into the world at exactly 12 a.m. Wednesday at NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island. 

Aidan weighs seven pounds, 13 ounces and measures 20 inches. The proud parents are Jennet and Artyom Zobnin; Aidan is their second child.

At the exact same time, Anthony Saraceno Jr. came into the world at Richmond University Medical Center on Staten Island. He weighs seven pounds, nine ounces. The proud parents are Anthony Sr. and Michelle Saraceno of Staten Island — their first born.

According to the hospital, Anthony Jr. was an early arrival.
