Detectives are looking for the suspect who stabbed and critically injured a man during a dispute outside a Brooklyn nightclub early Thursday morning.
Law enforcement sources said the attack took place at 3:05 a.m. on Dec. 5 in front of the Zombie Lounge on Flatbush Avenue between Parkside and Clarkson Avenues.
According to police, the 27-year-old victim got into a verbal argument with the attacker, which ultimately turned violent. A source familiar with the case said the two men did not know each other before the incident, but the reason for the argument remains unclear.
Authorities said the attacker pulled out a knife during the altercation and repeatedly stabbed the man about the body, then fled the scene.
Officers from the 70th Precinct and EMS units responded to the incident. Paramedics rushed the victim to Kings County Medical Center, where he’s listed in critical condition.
On Dec. 7, the NYPD released video footage of the assailant, taken shortly before the attack.
Cops described the suspect as a man with a dark complexion and a large build, standing 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 270 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black and yellow jacket, a knit cap, black jeans and black sneakers.
