Police have released video footage of the perpetrator who tried to rape a 48-year-old woman on the streets of Brooklyn early Thanksgiving morning.
The NYPD said the attack happened at 4:50 a.m. on Nov. 28 in the area of 20th Avenue and 65th Street in Bensonhurst.
According to law enforcement sources, the victim was walking to the nearby 20th Avenue subway station when the creep grabbed her by the neck and dragged her between two parked vehicles.
Cops said the suspect then attempted to force himself on her, causing the woman to scream. Apparently panicked, the creep bolted from the location, and was last seen running eastbound on 66th Street toward 21st Avenue.
The victim was treated at a local hospital for a hand injury and bruising/pain to her neck.
On Nov. 29, the NYPD released black-and-white surveillance camera footage which shows the suspect walking through the area. He is pictured wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with the NASA logo on the front, and carrying a backpack.
