Two men were shot, one fatally, inside a Brooklyn nightclub early on Monday morning, police reported.

The homicide happened at about 1:15 a.m. on Dec. 21 inside the Milk River Lounge at 960 Atlantic Ave. in Prospect Heights.

Officers from the 77th Precinct, in responding to a 911 call, found a 32-year-old man shot in the chest. Paramedics rushed him to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have withheld his identity, pending family notification.

Later, the NYPD learned that the second shooting victim — a 37-year-old man shot once in the buttocks — had been taken by private means to Brooklyn Hospital. He was listed in stable condition.

At this point in the investigation, police have not yet established a motive for the murder. Cops are looking for a suspect preliminarily described as a Black man in a red jacket, who was last seen fleeing westbound on Atlantic Avenue, possibly in a wheelchair.

No arrests have been made in the ongoing probe, police said.

It’s not clear whether the lounge was in operation at the time of the shooting. A Yelp listing for the club indicated that it had closed months ago. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic’s second wave, all indoor dining is suspended — and all restaurants and bars must close by 10 p.m. nightly.

Anyone with information about the incident can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA). You can also submit tips online at nypdcrimestoppers.com, or on Twitter @NYPDTips. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
