Police released disturbing video Saturday night of a drive-by shooting on a Brooklyn street that left a man injured.
According to law enforcement sources, the shooting happened at about 2:11 a.m. on Nov. 5 near the corner of 4th Avenue and 58th Street in Sunset Park.
As shown on the video, the shooters arrive on the scene while riding a fast-moving moped shown turning westbound onto 58th Street from 4th Avenue.
Seconds later, the suspect riding behind the moped’s operator pointed a gun at two men on the sidewalk and opened fire. One victim ducked for cover, while the other was hit in the lower left leg and is shown hopping away in retreat.
After opening fire, police reported, the suspects continued westbound along 58th Street and were last seen turning northbound onto 3rd Avenue.
The incident was reported to the 72nd Precinct. EMS brought the injured pedestrian to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn in stable condition. The other pedestrian was not injured.
Police described the drive-by shooters as men who wore black masks, black hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans.
