Cops are looking for the teenage pilferer they believe robbed two women in Midtown, Manhattan between Feb. 10 and Feb. 12.
Police say a 75-year-old woman was exiting the Bryant Park restrooms near West 43rd Street and Sixth Avenue at around 6:45 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10 when the suspect — believed to be a young girl between the ages of 16 and 19 — approached her and forcibly snatched her purse.
As a result of the force, the victim fell to the ground and injured her left hand, but refused medical attention at the scene. The suspect — who made off with the victim’s cellphone and wallet — fled on foot into the West 33rd Street PATH station.
Two days later, it was reported to police that a suspect of the same description pushed a 51-year-old woman to the ground near West 25th Street and Eighth Avenue. Authorities say the victim was walking near the corner at around 6:40 p.m. when the young woman knocked her down and took her cellphone and wallet.
The suspect again fled into the West 33rd Street PATH station, cops said.
The victim in the second incident hit her head, but also refused medical attention at the scene.
