Police are looking for a bicycle-riding bandit who allegedly punched a man in the face and slashed him on the arm in a park in Lower Manhattan on Monday.
The victim, 24, was at Sara D. Roosevelt Park, opposite 68A Forsyth St., at around 1 p.m. when he was approached by an unknown man and then slugged in the face and slashed multiple times on the arm with an unknown object.
The suspect then fled the park on a black bicycle and headed westbound on Hester Street. The victim was transported by EMS to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
Police have released a photo of the suspect.
