Police are looking to track down two individuals who robbed victims of their AirPods in Manhattan twice last month.
Cops said the first incident took place at 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 inside the Shake Shack located at 1 West 125th St. in Harlem.
According to law enforcement sources, the thieves approached a 13-year-old boy, displayed a knife and demanded his wireless AirPod headphones. The pair then removed the AirPods from the victim’s ears, then fled in an unknown direction.
Nearly three weeks later, police said, the crooks struck again, robbing a 23-year-old woman along West 110th Street near Broadway in Morningside Heights at 6:25 p.m. on Dec. 22.
Cops said the victim was heading to a nearby grocery store when the two crooks gestured toward her to grab her attention. As the woman continued walking, one of the thieves struck her in the face, causing one of her AirPods to fall out of an ear.
One crook then grabbed the fallen AirPod and fled with his cohort in an unknown direction.
Neither of the two robbery victims were injured, police said.
On Jan. 6, the NYPD released video footage of the two suspects, taken inside the Shake Shack on the day of the first incident.
