It’s the season of love, and if you’re thinking of proposing to that special someone, you might be looking for a place to pop the question.
Glamira.com analyzed a list of 134 romantic spots throughout the world and cross-referenced them with the amount of combined proposal Instagram and TikTok hashtag counts to find out which spots were the most popular spots to propose.
Though the top spots went to cities like Paris, Bali and Sydney, Central Park squeezed its way onto the list at number nine with 3,712 Instagram and TikTok proposal hashtags.

It’s fascinating to see the most romantic places in the world to propose ranked as they all offer different aspects from breathtaking natural environments to iconic architectural landmarks,” said a spokesperson from Glamira.com.
Being as big as it is, Central Park has no shortage of places where you could initiate a proposal at any time of the year. According to Central Park’s website, some of the more popular spots for a proposal include Belvedere Castle Terrace, the Bow Bridge at 74th Street, Shakespeare Garden, and Dene Summerhouse.
However, there are plenty of other interesting spots in the park where you can create that lasting memory, including the Central Park Zoo, Strawberry Fields, or when it warms up, under the cherry blossoms or on a boat.
