Cops are looking for a suspect who attacked a teenager during an argument on a NoHo street.
Authorities say that at 1:10 a.m. on March 12, a 17-year-old boy was at the northeast corner of Bowery and East 3rd Street when he was approached by an unknown man. The two got into a verbal dispute and when the young victim started to walk away, the suspect struck the victim from behind on the right side of his neck with an unknown object, causing a laceration.
The suspect then fled the scene on foot, heading northbound on East 4th Street. Paramedics took the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was treated and released.
The NYPD released a photo of the suspect taken from a cellphone at the incident location. The suspect is described as man with a dark complexion, a goatee and short, dark braided hair, standing 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue puffer jacket, white sweat pants, a white graphic t-shirt and a black hooded sweatshirt wrapped around his waist.
