Cops are looking for a creep who grabbed several butts in Manhattan over the course of two days.
Police say that between July 20-21, the suspect would approach his victims, all of whom were adult women, from behind and forcibly grab their buttocks.
The suspect forcibly grabbed his first victim’s buttocks near 5th Avenue and East 8th Street at 2:30 p.m. on July 20. At 3 p.m. that same day, the suspect struck again at the corner of Greenwich Avenue and Avenue of the Americas.
On July 21, the suspect, who was spotted on surveillance footage wearing a grey t-shirt, grey shorts and sneakers, grabbed two women’s backsides in front of 229 East 12th Street at around 12:50 p.m. Shortly after, the suspect grabbed another woman’s derriere nearby at the corner of 3rd Avenue and East 12th Street. At 1:50 p.m., the suspect grabbed one last butt at the corner of 7th Avenue and West 28th Street.
There were no reported injuries as a result of any of the incidents.
The suspect is described as a bald man with brown eyes, a salt and pepper beard, and a large build, standing 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. The suspect was last seen on July 27 at 7:10 p.m. leaving the 28th Street subway station, at which time he was wearing a black t-shirt, shorts, a blue and orange NY Knicks jersey, white socks and black sneakers.
