Cops are still looking for the ne’er-do-well they say assaulted a man before shaking him down on the Lower East Side last month.
Police on Monday released security camera footage of the suspect wanted for punching a 46-year-old man in the head near Allen and Hester streets at around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 2, after which, authorities say, he swiped the victim’s cell phone and wallet.
The suspect — seen on camera wearing a hooded light gray tracksuit and white sneakers — fled to parts unknown.
The victim refused medical attention, police said.
