The NYPD is looking for a man who slashed his victim near the Vladeck Houses on the Lower East Side.
According to police, at 11:16 p.m. on March 30 a 20-year-old man was standing in the vicinity of Water Street and Jackson Street when he was approached by an unknown man. The man had a machete and slashed the victim, causing a severe laceration before fleeing the scene.
Paramedics took the victim to a local hospital where he received stitches and is in stable condition.
