Detectives in East Harlem are looking for the shooter who gunned down a man in the playground of a public housing complex on Wednesday night.
The victim, an unidentified man in his 30s, took a bullet to his head inside the Wagner Houses complex, located at 2375 1st Ave., at about 8:40 p.m. on Nov. 17, it was reported.
Officers from the 25th Precinct and NYPD PSA 5 found the victim while responding to a 911 call about an assault in progress.
EMS rushed the man to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police sources did not provide details as to the circumstances leading up to the shooting, or a description of the suspect involved.
So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, authorities said.
