Police said they are looking for a thief who robbed a bank in the Flatiron District on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 3:25 p.m., inside the TD Bank at 950 Broadway, at East 23rd Street.
According to law enforcement sources, the perpetrator allegedly passed a note to the teller demanding money, police said, and the teller, a 38-year-old female employee, complied.
The thief fled with $600, according to officials.
Officers from the 13th Precinct responded to the incident. There were no injuries.
