Detectives are looking for the armed suspect who gunned down a 28-year-old man on Thursday night inside the Manhattan apartment building where the victim lived.
Brandon Vails, 28, took a fatal bullet to his torso just before 6:39 p.m. on March 5 inside the building on East 127th Street near Park Avenue in Harlem.
Officers from the 25th Precinct, while responding to a 911 call, found the wounded Vails in the lobby. Paramedics rushed him to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made in the case, cops noted. At this point in the investigation, police have not released any details about a possible motive, or the suspect’s description.
The investigation remains in progress.
