Police are searching for the three suspects they say beat and robbed a newsstand worker in Midtown last month.
According to police, a 37-year-old man was working inside of a newsstand in front of 1033 Avenue of the Americas at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 31 when the three men approached him and began taunting him. Authorities say the trio tossed grapes at the man before the altercation quickly escalated.
One of the men reportedly punched the worker before robbing him of his cell phone. The suspects then made their escape on foot, cops said.
EMS rushed to scene where they treated the man for his wounds.
The perpetrators were last seen wearing hooded sweaters and carrying rucksacks.
