Police are on the hunt for two suspects who brutally slashed a man in Central Park during an argument Saturday morning.

The attack unfolded in the park near 67 West Drive on the Upper West Side, police said. Cops say a 42-year-old man was sitting on a bench at around 9:45 a.m. when two men approached him. 

Police say the pair got into an argument with the victim that escalated into an assault, ending with the suspects viciously slashing the 42-year-old with knives. Law enforcement sources said the man suffered deep lacerations to the torso, neck, and back.

The victim was rushed to Mount Sinai West Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.

Meanwhile, the two assailants were last seen hightailing it westbound on West 66th Street.

The NYPD has released surveillance images of the suspects, hoping they will be recognized.
