Late night Harlem stabbing leaves man hospitalized: cops

A man was hospitalized late Sunday night after being stabbed in Harlem, police said.

Police rushed to 132 West 129 St. at 9:50 p.m. on Sept. 24 after a man was apparently attacked with a sharp object, authorities said. Cops from the 32nd Precinct discovered a 54-year-old man on the street who had been stabbed in the torso.

EMS rushed the victim to Harlem hospital where he is expected to survive the assault. The suspect, believed to be another male, fled on foot, police said.

Blood could be seen on the sidewalk as responding officers swiftly set up caution tape. Cops used flashlights to search for evidence around the area and took photographs of the grizzly scene.

No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
