Police need the public’s help in finding the creep who molested a 9-year-old girl in Central Park on Memorial Day.
The NYPD released a sketch of the suspect involved in the May 25 incident, which occurred at 3 p.m. in the vicinity of East Drive and East 75th Street.
Sources familiar with the investigation said that the victim, who was with her parents at the time, accidentally fell into a water area and went over to a nearby play area to change her clothing.
As she did so, law enforcement sources reported, the perpetrator approached her and grabbed her buttocks with his hands. He then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The incident was reported to the Central Park Precinct. The child suffered no injuries.
Police described the suspect as a 25-year-old man with a light complexion, standing between 5 feet, 7 inches and 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and weighing between 150 and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue surgical mask, a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
