Cops in Queens are looking for the shooter who pulled the deadly trigger on a 29-year-old man in broad daylight on Monday afternoon.
Police reported that Uriah Richardson, 29, was gunned down in front of 21-15 Mott Ave., just across the street from the Far Rockaway terminal of the A line, at about 1:10 p.m. on Oct. 4.
Officers from the 101st Precinct, in responding to a 911 call, found Richardson — who lived on Mott Avenue, just a few blocks from the crime scene — shot in the chest. EMS rushed him to nearby St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, where he died a short time later.
As of Tuesday morning, police did not have information about a possible motive for the shooting, or a description of the shooter.
So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation.
Monday’s deadly shooting was the second such incident in Far Rockaway in 10 days. On Sept. 25, an unidentified suspect shot Bassiana Lawrence, 27, inside an apartment building on Beach 32nd Street. He later died of his injuries at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital.
