The NYPD is investigating a shooting in Queens that left a man dead on Wednesday night.
Police say that at 10:14 p.m. on May 25, officers from the 105th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding shots fired in the vicinity of 221st Street and 94th Drive in Queens Village. Upon their arrival, cops found a 37-year-old man in front of 94-55 221st Street with a gunshot wound to his torso.
Paramedics rushed the victim to North Shore University Hospital-Manhasset, where he was pronounced dead. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification.
At this time, the NYPD could not provide a description of the suspect but noted that the shooter fled the scene in a silver Nissan SUV.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
