Police are still looking for the perpetrator who robbed a woman at gunpoint inside a Bronx hotel earlier this month.
At around 4:20 a.m. on July 5, a 37-year-old woman was approached by a man in a hallway of the Tremont Hotel, located at 750 East Tremont Avenue, within the 46th Precinct. Authorities say the suspect then displayed a firearm and forcibly removed the woman’s cell phone from her hands and a chain from around her neck.
The crook then allegedly shot at 33-year-old man nearby before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported and the suspect remains on the loose, cops said Tuesday.
New surveillance video shows the alleged suspect wearing a dark colored t-shirt and hat, and ripped jean shorts.
