A 30-year-old man was fatally shot in the Inwood section of Manhattan early Wednesday morning, cops said.
The victim was found by police responding to a 911 call at around 1:45 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the face at 72 Vermilyea Ave. The man was taken by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced deceased.
There have been no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
The identify of the victim has yet to be released, pending family notification.
