A Brooklyn rocker early Monday fatally shot three of his fellow bandmates at their Bushwick house before killing himself.
The victims were young men from Iran who played in a band called The Yellow Dogs.
Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said that shortly after midnight, went on a shooting spree with an assault rifle through the building on 318 Maujer Street that left three dead and one injured.
The gunman fired into the first floor windows first, killing two people, then got inside the building and fatally shot another man, according to Kelly. The surviving victim, a 22-year-old man, was shot in the right arm as he tried to fight the gunman.
After the carnage, the suspect went to the roof and shot himself in the head. The victims were men who in their 20s and 30s.
“This was a dispute over money involving an indie rock band,” Kelly told reporters at Veterans Day Parade. “We believe [the suspect] was a band member.”
