A time-honored holiday tradition is returning on Friday to get an early start to the holiday season in New York City.
On Oct. 27, the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park will officially open for the season, bringing the Holiday Shops by Urbanspace Markets, a variety of eateries and its iconic ice rink to Bryant Park for the fall and winter seasons.
This year, over 190 merchants will be featured, including a new section of shops located off 40th Street that is opening in November. Among those joining the new area include Fairy Light Factory, Wildflower, RKNYC and Lael Alpaca. Some returning favorites to the shops include 5th & Madison, Cantina Royale and Cheesesteaks by Truffleist, and 80% of this year’s vendor lineup are minority/female/BIPOC-owned businesses. A full lineup of merchants can be seen at bryantpark.org.

As usual, the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park ice rink is free to the public, though you do need to reserve a timed entry ticket online before your visit. Tickets are now available to reserve your spot for November skating. If you don’t have your own skates, rentals range from $18-$55. Premium ticket options are available for purchase online as well.
Located right next to the rink will be The Lodge, which offers a space for visitors to enjoy festive cocktails and dishes in an open-air setting. Also returning this year are the Cozy Igloos, offering a private dining experience for guests and their friends, as well as the Curling Cafe and Bumper Cars on Ice.
The shops will be open through Jan. 2, 2024, and the rest of the winter village will be open through March 3, 2024. For more information, visit bryantpark.org.
