Police are searching for two suspects after a night out on the town in Queens ended with five people stabbed.
Authorities said the bloody brawl unfolded just before 12 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3 near the corner of 100th Street and 37th Avenue in Corona, where two groups engaged in a stare down that ended in a knife attack.
Cops from the 115th Precinct arrived on scene to find a 29-year-old man with a stab wound to the abdomen, a 23-year-old man with a slash gash to the left shoulder, and a 25-year-old man with a stab wound to the torso.
All three victims were rushed to Elmhurst hospital in stable conditions, while two more victims — a 39-year-old man with a stab wound to the back and 24-year-old man with stab wounds to the back and left shoulder — were whisked to Presbyterian Hospital, also in stable condition.
Police say they are looking for two men in connection with the assault. No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
Felony assaults are up more than 33% year-to-date in Queens’ 115th Precinct, where Saturday night’s attack occurred, according to NYPD data. As of July 28, when the most recent statistics are available, there were 359 reported felony assaults in the northern Queens precinct this year — up from 269 during the same time last year.
