Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly shot multiple people on a residential block in the Bronx earlier this month.
Law enforcement sources said the suspect shot three people on Monday, June 17, at approximately 6 p.m. at the corner of 221 Street and Bronxwood Avenue in Williamsbridge.
As a barrage of bullets went by, police said, a 27-year-old man was shot in the right hand. They said a 21-year-old man was shot in the back and left armpit, while a 33-year-old man sustained a shot to the right leg.
The suspect immediately fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV before officers from the 47th Precinct arrived at the scene.
All three victims were brought to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.
Police could not confirm yet a motive for the shooting, but released photos of the suspect and his getaway vehicle. The suspect is shown wearing all black and a black mask. The vehicle is a dark-colored SUV.
