Police have identified the victim of an upper Manhattan shooting on Monday that claimed a man’s life.
According to law enforcement sources, Wilmer Rosario, 32, of Britton Street in the Bronx, was slain inside 3845 10th Ave., along a commercial corridor in Inwood, at around 5:49 a.m. on Sept. 16.
Officers from the 34th Precinct, in responding to a 911 call of a male shot at the location, found Rosario with multiple gunshot wounds to his face and chest.
Authorities said a dispute ensued inside the location, which resulted in a gunfire exchange between the victim and an unidentified suspect, who remains at large.
EMS rushed Rosario to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. Police do not yet have a description of the perp, but were able to confirm he is a male.
So far, no arrests have been made, but the investigation remains ongoing.

The 34th Precinct saw a 150% increase in murder year to date compared to last year, according to the latest crime statistics. In 2023, the precinct saw only two murders during this time period; 2024 has already seen five.
