A 43-year-old woman was found dead in her Bronx home Monday morning by police, according to the NYPD.
Officers found Jarmilla Brooks “unconscious and unresponsive” around 8 a.m. inside of her home at the over 40-story River Park Towers, just next to the Morris Heights train station on the Harlem River.
EMS personnel pronounced Brooks dead at the scene and have not indicated a cause of death at this time, law enforcement sources said.
She was found after police in the 46th precinct were responding to a call for an unconscious person, cops say.
The NYPD has not put out any persons of interest in the case yet, either.
